moving to screwville

haven't really logged in to my blog in a while. i guess i've been having an affair with another blog-- the one on my myspace. i like that blog because it allows me to be more informal as opposed to this one which is set up in a more formal and organized way.

i just saw this great video for electronic/down-tempo artist Flying Lotus. his video is for the song 'parisian goldfish' and it's brilliant... mostly because it was directed by eric warenheim of 'tim & eric awesome show great job' fame. if you know me, you know that i'm kind of a fan of tim and eric but mostly eric-- mainly because everytime i gaze at his face i begin to laugh.
here is the video:

i've been writing a short story for the past month and i still don't know where it's going. it's about this professor of physics who cheats on his wife with a creative writing student. and this professor has been studying and researching the effects of time-travel since he was a student in college-- time travel has been his whole life. now that his marriage and family have fallen apart due to his infidelity and dedication to his work, he has an emotional purpose for using time travel: to prevent himself from ruining his marriage.
my ideas for the ending:
-him going back in time and actually correcting everything but he's stuck in that time so he lives his life alongside himself... which is boring and kind of un-inventive.
-him going back in time but to a time that doesn't pertain to his mistake... which is kind of cool.
-same as the one above except it's a time where you get more depth into his character.
-him never actually going back in time, but he goes through a metaphysical trance of memories that are vital into knowing about his love-life.

i don't know.
my story isn't structured right, so we'll see.

i just got back from eating with this girl, linda. she's cool. i think i like her. but i don't think she likes me. fuck it. girlz, dawg.
